Dereham Norfolk England

Christian Interest

My name is Eric Whitwell and my wife Margaret we live in Dereham Norfolk England, I attend the Dereham Baptist Church where I am endeavouring to put together the history of the church and would welcome any contribution you can make. If you have been a member or one of your family has been a member, I would love to hear from you. It could be just an interesting story or a memory of long ago. I would appreciate any leaflets, letters, photos or postcards relating to the church.

You will see there is a list of ministers since the first pastor Mr Thomas Wright was invited to commence a work in the late 1700's.Are there any relatives who have any recollection of any of these ministers, again I would welcome any information you can give me.

I believe also you will find the Autobiography of James Mursell Phillippo's early life in Dereham interesting.

Besides being a member of Dereham Baptist Church my wife and I love the fun & fellowship of going away with our caravan. If you are a fellow believer and have a Caravan or Tent contact us and find out more, about the Caravanners and Campers Christian Fellowship.
